業餘無線電愛好者守則

美國業餘無線電愛好者保羅.賽加爾W9EEA於1928年倡議了業餘無線電愛好者

在活動中應該遵循的守則，後來漸漸變成世界各國所有業餘無線電愛好者都承認

並遵循的座右銘。守則內容如下：

第一： 業餘無線電愛好者是體諒的...

絕不故意在聯絡中妨礙他人的樂趣。

第二： 業餘無線電愛好者是忠誠的...

對同好、俱樂部以及在國內外代表全國業餘無線電愛好者的國家協會表現忠誠、鼓勵與支持。

第三： 業餘無線電愛好者是進步的...

具備先進科學的知識，裝備認真有效的電臺,以及無可挑剔的操作。

第四： 業餘無線電愛好者是友善的...

應要求緩慢耐心的發送，對新手的友好指導和建議，善意的幫助合作，以及考慮別人的利益，這些是業餘精神的證明。

第五： 業餘無線電愛好者是平衡的...

業餘無線電是一種嗜好,絕不因之妨害對家庭、工作、學校和社會所應盡的義務。

第六： 業餘無線電愛好者是愛國的...

The Amateur's Code

ONE

"The radio amateur is considerate...never knowingly operates in such a way as to lessen the pleasure of others."

TWO

"The radio amateur is loyal...offers loyalty, encouragement and support to other amateurs, local clubs, and the American Radio Relay League, through which Amateur Radio in the United States is represennted nationally and internationally."

THREE

"The radio amateur is progressive...with knowledge abreast of science, a well-built and efficient station and operation above reproach."

FOUR

"The radio amateur is friendly...slow and patient operating when requested; friendly advice and counsel to the beginner; kindly assistance, cooperation and consideration for interests of others. These are the hallmarks of the amateur spirit."

FIVE

"The radio amateur is balanced...radio is an avocation, never interfering with duties owed to family, job, school, or community."

SIX

"The radio amateur is patriotic...station and skill always ready for service to country and community."
